The Increased Schooling Fee (HEC) has said that personal universities and better schooling establishments (HEIs) aren’t allowed to grant affiliations to schools or different establishments.
In an announcement on Twitter on Sunday, the HEC reiterated that levels obtained from a university/establishment that’s affiliated with a personal college is not going to be acknowledged by the competent authority.
It mentioned that the personal universities and better schooling institutes have been barred from granting affiliation to different schools and establishments resulting from grave irregularities in administration and poor instructional requirements.

Now, the fee famous that it’s the sole and apex authority to award affiliation to any new school/establishment to be opened and operated.
“HEC is the only real standard-setting nationwide group regarding larger schooling within the nation,” it added.
The Fee maintained that personal HEIs can solely function via their accredited campuses or sub-campuses having No-objection Certificates (NOC) from the HEC.
