Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Minister for Elementary and Secondary Training, Shahram Tarakai introduced on Tuesday that the federal government has determined to shut the faculties in 9 districts as a result of surge in coronavirus circumstances.
The choice was taken in a gathering of the Provincial Job Pressure (PTF) that was chaired by the provincial Chief Minister, Mahmood Khan, wherein the pandemic scenario was reviewed. It was agreed that colleges in 9 districts with a positivity charge of over ten % would be closed.
Minister Tarakai spoke at a media briefing after the assembly and declared that the faculties in Charsadda, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Kohat, Malakand, Swat, and Dir Decrease will stay closed from tomorrow (17 March) till 28 March.
The tutorial institutes in Peshawar have been already closed below the directives of the Nationwide Command and Operations Centre on 10 March.
The attendees of the assembly additionally determined to represent a committee comprising Taimur Saleem Khan Jhagra, Shaukat Yousafzai, and Kamran Bangash to evaluate the potential closure of the native markets.
The assembly was attended by provincial ministers, the Corps Commander Peshawar, the Chief Secretary KP, the IGP, and administrative secretaries.
