NED College of Engineering and Expertise (NEDUET) based in 1921 will full its 100 years this 12 months.
The college beforehand generally known as the Prince of Wales Engineering School is among the oldest establishments in Pakistan for educating and producing engineering graduates.

The NEDUET Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, revealed that the inspiration stone of the school was laid to mark the go to by the Prince of Wales in 1921.
“A British officer, Jackson, was probably the most devoted one that used all potential assets to determine the school,” Dr. Lodi mentioned.
“The school was initially arrange in 4 blocks of buildings and two sheds. The primary block was named Seth Fatehchand Dewandas Khilnani Corridor, the block housing, powerhouse, electrical and hydraulics laboratories, and workshops had been named after Bai Puribai and Bacharbai”.
The school was affiliated with Bombay College until partition, following which it got here beneath the jurisdiction of the Sindh authorities. It was renamed NED Authorities Engineering School and affiliated to the College of Sindh.
