Punjab Textbook Board Sends Discover to Oxford Press After Malala Controversy


The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB) has served a show-cause discover to the Oxford College Press (OUP) for publishing an unauthorized e-book that carried an image of Malala Yousufzai alongside Abdul Sattar Edhi and Main Aziz Bhatti Shaheed.

“M/s Oxford College Press has printed and revealed the textbook of ‘New Oxford Social Research for Pakistan B’ with none prior permission and approval of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board,” it additional added.

The writer has been requested to submit its reply inside seven days, or else a case can be registered in opposition to it.

Observe that the provincial authorities has already confiscated the Social Research grade 7 books of OUP for publishing the e-book with out a NOC.
