Punjab to Implement Single Nationwide Curriculum for 2021-22


The federal government of Punjab has issued a notification for the implementation of a Single Nationwide Curriculum (SNC) for Grades Pre I-V for the forthcoming educational session 2021-22 and onwards. Additionally, Mannequin Textbooks of Training, the Reforms & Textbook Improvement Wing, and the Faculty Training Division have been developed by the federal authorities to be adopted by all of the streams of training within the province.

The notification that was undersigned by the Managing Director Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Dr. Farooq Manzoor, learn:

“The Provincial Cupboard of Punjab, in its thirty ninth assembly dated 17.12.2020, has accorded the concurrence and adoption of the Single Nationwide Curriculum (SNC)”.

It additional said: “Subsequently, as per approval of the Board in its 76th assembly dated 31.12.2020 and as per Part 9(3)(a) of the PCTB Act-2015, the Competent Authority, Punjab Curriculum, and Textbook Board, Lahore hereby notified the Single Nationwide Curriculum (NSC) for Grades Pre I-V”.

 

The SNC will probably be launched in phases. Within the first section, a uniform syllabus will probably be launched for lessons one to 5 in March 2021, for lessons 6 to eight in March 2022, and for lessons 9 to 12 in March 2023.
